Stijn Vanoppen
obtained his law degree at the KULeuven (1998). He holds an LLM in Taxation from the London School of Economics (2003). Currently, he is a research and teaching fellow at the Institute for Tax Law at the KULeuven, where he prepares a PhD on the Taxation of Financial Instruments (under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Frans Vanistendael). Since 1999, he is a member of the Brussels bar. In his practice and research, he focuses on both national and international issues of investment income and corporation tax.
