Onno Ruding
is a Vice Chairman of Citicorp and its principal subsidiary Citibank.
He is responsible for corporate and investment banking activities in
North America, Europe and Japan. He received his Master of Arts degree in economics
in 1964 and his PhD in 1969, both from the Erasmus University, Rotterdam
He served as chairman of AMRO International Ltd. From 1982 to 1989 he was
Minister of Finance of the Netherlands. From 1990 until 1992, Dr. Ruding
was chairman of the Netherlands Christian Federation of Employers (NCW) in The Hague.
He also chaired the Committee of Indepedent Experts on Company Taxation, which
published its report in 1992.
