Maarten Ellis
is professor of International Tax Law at the Erasmus University
of Rotterdam. He graduated
at the University of Leiden, the Netherlands, Law Faculty, in 1964. He did
post-graduate work in international trade and tax law at the Goethe University
in Frankfurt (Germany). In 1971 he joined by Loyens & Volkmaars where he became
a partner in 1976. He is a frequent speaker and reporter on international conferences dealing with tax
and treaty issues and he teaches international tax law in several post-graduate courses.
